You will need to submit your idea for your Indigneous womxn role model for approval Definition: The word "womxn" is an alternative spelling to the word woman, in which the "man" or "men" part is removed. "Womxn" is an intersectional term intended to signal the inclusion of those who have traditionally been excluded from white feminist discourse such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) as well as trans-women. Information to be Included: 1.Womxn's name, birthdate, and the type of background/Indigenous they identify as. (First Nations, Metis, Inuit, Mixed Indigenous, Biracial, Multiracial etc.) 2.Home community and community they live in now. 3.Five significant achievements, events or facts about the womxn and when they occurred. •A significant life event may be moving to the city from their reserve to pursue education and the experience surrounding the big life change. •An achievement may be their first march, an award they won, finishing post-secondary, getting their dream career, etc. 4.Add five images for each research point. •Either hand drawn, digitally created, or photos from the internet that are cited.
