Next Steps for Consideration Connected North is performing well at its current scale. As the program continues to grow, the following research priorities—aimed at building on or addressing gaps in this evaluation and strengthening performance monitoring—can deepen understanding of how the program is working and help support sustainable, high-quality expansion. 1. Continue to enhance monitoring of classroom technology and its influence on program delivery. 2. Deepen understanding of teacher experiences, ensuring they have the support needed to make the most of Connected North as the network expands. 3. In collaboration with Indigenous partners, evaluate the program's other long-term outcomes (e.g., through the lens of their well-being framework) to balance and complement the evaluation's focus on school performance and graduation. 4. Strengthen alignment between performance indicators and the (evolving) Program Theory to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of data collection.
