There are opportunities all around you,
floating everywhere and all you have to
do is close your hand around them, but
no one else can do that for you.
Theatre arts, film studies and other classes can choose one
or a series of workshops on the topics of script
development, directing, and/or design, led by professional
filmmaker, theatre director, and teaching artist Marisa
Diamond. Single class sessions are available but please
note a 2-4 class series is required for students to have time
for actual "practice".

From Sucker Creek First Nation, Linsay has a degree in
Child and Youth Work and was a runner up on Canada's
next top model. She runs a youth empowerment agency
and is also a professional actress, recently featured in the
TV series Alaska Daily. In this workshop, students will learn
about being an actor in the film industry. Everything from
auditioning, script analysis, booking roles, to being on set!
