Sara de Waard
This was a fabulous session! The students were
110% engaged and had a ball through the entire
workshop. I highly recommend this session to any
teacher looking for new drama activities. After the
presentation, the students wanted to continue the
drama and do the activities again.
-Grade 2/3 Teacher, Ear Falls, ON
In this session, students will learn about dramatic arts
performance, step out of their comfort zones, and build
confidence. The teacher will also benefit from the lesson
by receiving ideas and/or an activity for future drama
classes. This hour lesson will include introductions to the
art form, expectations & acting tips, drama games and a
follow-up activity for the teacher to use at their discretion
(junior and intermediate).

This exciting "Screaming Into Screenwriting" session aims
to inspire students to use their creative writing skills to
express themselves and to explore the art of writing a
screenplay that could serve as the foundation for film or
television. During the session, students will discuss various
examples from existing media, learn and apply drama
improvisation techniques to enhance their dialogue
writing, and try their hand at crafting an original scene.
