Introduction to Fashion Illustration Adrienne Aliyak Adrienne Tulugaarjuk Aliyak "Tulu" was born and raised in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. While at Algonquin College in Ottawa, she discovered her passion for Indigenous heritage and sewing. A self-taught seamstress and jewelry artist, her work blends traditional Inuit style with modern elements. Now studying fashion at Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy in Ottawa Ontario. Adrienne will talk about her career path and show students some of her work. Adrienne will then guide students in fashion illustration, including using watercolor to paint faces. Join us for an engaging session with Priscilla Boulay, a talented artist from Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. Priscilla will share her inspiring journey, highlighting creativity and cultural heritage.
