Mini Menon My name is Mini Menon, and I am a high school teacher at Father Megret High School, Wollaston Lake, Saskatchewan. I teach grades 10 and 11. The subjects I teach are English, social studies, entrepreneurship, science, health science, and many more. I have been part of this school for the past 18 months. Connected Entrepreneurs Introduction I booked sessions for a whole month. Our School Lead from the Connected North team helped me with the process and booked sessions for the Intermission Block. As a result, my students benefitted a lot and are potential entrepreneurs in the future. Some of the most memorable and informative sessions were as follows: Linsay Willier - Walk with Pride (self-esteem) Dallas Soonias - Reaching New Heights (how he lost seven friends to gun violence) Reggie Leach - Setting Goals and Owning Your Choices (hockey legend who sent his autographed book) REEL Canada - Careers in Film and TV Ovila Mailhot - Starting your Own Business (graphic designer) Father Megret High School Wollaston Lake, Saskatchewan C o n n e c t e d N o r t h i n O u r C l a s s r o o m Mini Menon - Connected North in Our Classroom 90
