Closing Comments
The Connected North team have helped my classes and myself tremendously during
my time at Igloolik High School.
By connecting my classes and myself to a carefully curated selection of expert
content providers, the Connected North team has stretched our learning in areas I
was not previously familiar with.
It has helped get the ball rolling on the teaching of new units of study and content
areas; enriched the delivery of my curriculum with unique, fun, and "deeper
learning" experiences; and provided us with invaluable classroom resources and
materials such as art and craft supplies.
It has also exposed us to a diverse breadth of knowledge and perspectives ranging
from international artists and war veterans to science experts and Inuit knowledge
holders, which has been immensely helpful in providing a deep, diverse, well-
rounded, nourishing, and culturally relevant education for our students.
