Classroom Engagement Closing Comments One of the biggest challenges was the harsh winter this year, where temperatures dipped to -50 degrees Celsius. Because of this, it was challenging to get students to class. Another challenge was student participation in these sessions. Many of the students had their learning heavily affected by COVID-19. Consequently, the students were far too shy to join the conversation and lacked confidence. Therefore, as a teacher, I had to step up to probe questions during these sessions. Even our School Lead supported the momentum with his thoughtful participation. The strategies I use after each live session are enhancing and reinforcing the topic, connecting with real cases, and providing opportunities for small-group and whole-class discussion under my leadership. I thank Connected North for helping my students learn, as well as helping me learn how to make lessons more engaging. My students were excited before, during, and after Ovila's session. This is because my students are more artistic and are eager to learn information about how to start their own online business.
