SESSION EXAMPLE:
Monthly Panel Series
The goal of these panels is to hear from Indigenous role models who are currently attending or have
attended post secondary to get a real look at the challenges, success and opportunities that await
students aer high school. They help to demystify and break down the apprehension and barriers that
many Indigenous students face when heading off to post secondary.

SESSION EXAMPLE:
Reggie Leach "Goal setting and owning your choices"
NHL Legend Reggie Leach shares about his humble beginnings in rural
Manitoba to hockey stardom as a Stanley Cup winner. As an Indigenous
role model, Reggie speaks about his life story and overcoming obstacles
that have led him on the path to the positive work he does today in
speaking with youth and children about setting goals and being
responsible for the choices they make.
