Create to Learn
Create to Learn continued the
adaptation started in 2020 to offer free,
self-paced skill development videos for
youth to build digital skills and foster
creativity and entrepreneurship.
Recognizing that many communities
we serve continue to lack adequate
bandwidth to easily access Create to
Learn content, we worked to develop a
Create to Learn textbook to make the
content available in a classroom
friendly format.
We collaborated with Anishinaabe
Educator Christine M'Lot to develop
lesson plans to help educators
integrate these resources into their
classroom teaching across grade levels
and subjects.
With support from CanCode, more
than 6,000 copies of the Create to
Learn textbook were distributed free of
charge, upon request, to schools across
Canada. All of the lesson plans and
resources are available online, free of
charge, at www.createtolearn.ca
