It is sampled from Canadian Red Cross's comprehensive Babysitter training curriculum. SPORTS C A DAV ER DEMONSTR ATION with Ray Volmer from St. Louis University The body consists of numerous organ systems that are interrelated; the function and interaction of these systems is closely regulated. These issues will be discussed during this videoconference. In basic terms, disease results in system deregulation. Students will learn how disease in one organ system will inevitably negatively impact other organ systems while interacting with a medical professional working with a cadaver. With a strong knowledge base in human anatomy and physiology, students will be better equipped to discuss health concerns with their physicians in the future. LE A DERS A ND GROUNDBRE A K ERS with Hockey Hall of Fame Leaders and groundbreakers can be regarded as trendsetters and pioneers who have stepped out of their comfort zone to question the norm and set themselves apart from the pack. Using photos, videos, and artifacts from the Hockey Hall of Fame's vast and acclaimed archives, as well as drawing from the sport's robust and colourful history, the approach will be entertaining and inspiring, using hockey as the example to examine what motivates individuals and how actions can lead to positive change, not just in the game but in everyday life. HOCK E Y HEROS; LE A RNING HOW TO BE A GOOD FRIEND with Teaching Awareness Through Puppetry Teaching Awareness Through Puppetry provides carefully designed workshops to educate school age children on the importance of accepting differences in themselves and others. This workshop includes a puppet performance and a rich facilitated Q&A session where the students will learn the importance of friendship, that bullying isn't always from a bully, and bullying can come in the form of physical and emotional actions.
