FUEL FOR THOUGHT with Byrnes Health In Fuel for Thought, students will explore healthy food and drink choices by investigating the "who, what, when, where why, and how" of good nutrition. Through fun and engaging activities, this program highlights the essential nutrients. BULLY ING VS. CONNEC TION with Sissy Mary Sue Bullying is explored through an understanding of empathy, connection, and the need to belong. This session seeks to support and empower youth through the exploration of the dilemma of bullying as it relates to young people's lives today. This will be done through the telling of the tale of the bullied cheetah who triumphed through the kindness, compassion, and empathy of others in "Jelly Beans the Cheetah and Hope." A NIM A L YOG A with Vinyasa Yoga Animal Yoga is an opportunity for kids to express themselves in a safe environment, learn new physical movements and sounds, build dexterity and ability through repetition, and exercise their creative muscles. All this being done in group dynamic which supports the building of self-trust and trust in others. Together, students will move through different postures as animals. They will breathe and even sometimes make sounds like animals from more large and loud to smaller, still and quiet positions. They will move towards stillness and take rest at the end of the class.
