In this new era of global citizenship, there is immense potential to make a collective difference by leveraging the purchasing power of Generation Z. Felicia Tai & Jerry Wang | Co-Founders of GiveBox Canada One of the biggest lessons that we learned was the value of clear and open communication. We found it important to maintain a constant dialogue and frequently follow-up with updates and check-ins. Within our own partnership, we realized that having a regular meeting schedule and contact was crucial in allowing us to stay on track and helped us complete our delegated tasks for each particular week. Staying motivated while working through everything can be challenging as sometimes there is no immediate payoff. What we found was that by working as a team and having a good support system we were able to motivate each other. We divided up the tasks based on our strengths and worked to use our time effectively during our last year in University. GiveBox Canada is an initiative designed to provide everyday necessities, such as toiletries and food, to the vulnerable and homeless populations through partnerships with community members and businesses. 10
