When I was having issues with team members, it was difficult to work on the project because it was so upsetting. Since resolving the issue, I have felt more alleviated and comfortable with my work. Delegation is important. It was very difficult for me to do everything on my own, so moving forward, my role as the founding Executive Director will consist of more oversight. NxtEng Canada will be a nationally-registered Not-for-Profit (NFP) Incorporation with a mission to empower the next generation of global leaders in engineering. Metaphorically speaking, it is the oil to a well-functioning machine, and neglecting it - even periodically - can come at the detriment of efficient performance. In today's fast-paced world, putting something off by even one or two days could mean the difference between missing out on or snagging a rare opportunity. When it comes to business-related tasks, procrastination has become increasingly less of a problem for me - learned the hard way. I have learned, between setting goals high versus beyond reach. Life happens, and it isn't always pretty. There have been plenty of unforeseen surprises, but understanding the 9
