Learn from & Work with your Community Understanding the needs and opportunities that exist in your community will help strengthen your social venture. Build a team from member of your community or develop mutually beneficial partnerships to create a bigger impact. Aljeena, Amandeep and Devashree share from their experiences on how they learned from the people they were hoping to serve and the teams and partnerships that made it possible. Aljeena Qureshi | Founder of Skillsphere The idea of Skillsphere appeals to many individuals - I just need to approach the problem differently. This will impact my future thinking, performance or services by making me consider the motivations behind my target audience more thoroughly and market better in order to attain better results. Having a core team of 10-15 people is crucial in order to effectively plan anything. I value teamwork to a much higher degree than before as a result of this project. Skillsphere is a youth-led start-up that focuses on educating youth between 12 and 18 years old about real-world skills. 6
