Careers & Post-Secondary Join Anabelle Latreille, a young Inuk entrepreneur and youth advocate, Indigenous Youth Entrepreneurship Anabelle Latreille as she shares her inspiring journey of combining cultural heritage with innovative business ventures. Anabelle, founder and owner of "Queen of Ottawa" will discuss how her unique beaded eyelashes brand blends traditional Inuit culture with contemporary beauty trends. Through her experiences, Anabelle highlights the importance of Indigenous youth voices in business, offering insights into starting and growing a brand. Participants will leave with advice for success and impact in their own communities. Anabelle also offers a Fox Fur Keychain sewing session featured on p. 31. Josh Hughes from Add-A-Tudez Entertainment Company and learn about all the different jobs that can be found in the video game industry. The goal of the session is to help students realize there is MANY jobs in the game industry (including, but not limited to, coding and art) and that they can find ways to connect their talents with their passion in gaming to create a future pathway for themselves. This session also includes time for questions/answers as well as a mini-talk on the importance of representing with dignity and respect in online spaces.
