Pathways to Nursing Amber-Joy Gruben Amber-Joy Gruben, an Inuvialuit woman from Tuktoyaktuk, NWT, is a registered nurse working in her home region. Growing up in an isolated Inuit community, she recognized the need for more nurses. Her journey through school is inspiring, as she reached her goal of becoming an RN. In this session, Amber will share her path to nursing, discuss the importance of representation, and reflect on her experiences working during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
