Dance Sarina Condello, a certified dance and drama teacher with a Master's in Curriculum Development in Arts Education and PhD studies in Arts Integration, has spent 30 years teaching in schools and universities. In this session, students use creative movement, drama, and chants to explore bees' collaborative nature. Students learn dances like the Waggle and Queen Bee, and engage in drama play about bee life, such as feeding the Queen Bee and making honey. Honey Bees That Dance Sarina Condello Fancy Dance with Angela Gladue Angela Gladue Join Angela Gladue for a fancy dance lesson. With her dynamic energy and deep cultural knowledge, Angela will guide participants through the intricate footwork, vibrant regalia movements, and rich storytelling embedded within this traditional dance form. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or taking your first steps, Angela's passion will transport you to a world of rhythm, grace, and celebration. Angela Gladue also offers Hip Hop Dancing. Rebecca has been dancing the Ladies Fancy Shawl for over 25 years, a true passion that defines her identity. She has traveled worldwide, performing at numerous Powwows and events, including with A Tribe Called Red, Dj Shub, Cris Derksen, the Indspire Awards, and the North American Indigenous Games. In this session, Rebecca will discuss the different dance styles performed at Powwows. She will also share some of her experiences with Fancy Dance as well as some of her regalia.
