Introduction to Connected North A student working on her inukshuk soapstone carving My class participated in the inukshuk soapstone carving with Priscilla Boulay, and it went well. Before the session, Connected North sent all the materials in the mail, such as the soapstone, files, and wax. In addition to these essential supplies, she also gave me a heads-up on what additional supplies I would need to gather from our school, such as paper towels and bowls of water. Everything I needed to know before the session was communicated, so it went smoothly. My students were dedicated to their carving and were eager to complete the additional sessions with Priscilla.
