to addressing socio-emotional, behavioural and learning exceptionalities.
Presence Facial expressions and body language generate a strong interest and enthusiasm for
the session.
Preparedness Provider is completely prepared and has rehearsed with attention paid to following an
outline/flow/trajectory.
Speaking: Clarity,
Pace, & Pauses
Speaks clearly with thoughtful attention to pace. Pauses regularly to account for
comprehension time and differences in language ability
Materials
Provider uses materials that show considerable thought and creativity. Materials
enhance session delivery and meaning. OR
The provider does not use materials, but this does not diminish from the content of the
session.
Interaction Provider thoughtfully engages the audience with meaningful discussion, dialogue
and/or hands-on activities consistently throughout the session that strengthens the
depth of learning.
Interdisciplinay
Approach
Session seamlessly blends several subject areas. Thoughtful consideration has been
given to curriculum applicability.
