#VOTE16 National Youth Survey RESULTS In a national online survey conducted by The Centre for Global Education (CGE), in collaboration with TakingITGlobal, and Senator McPhedran, we explored youth's connections, values, attitudes, and knowledge relating to lowering the voting age in Canada. Our goal was to build awareness and to better understand the needs of Canadian youth. Before embarking on the survey, CGE conducted four group meetings with hundreds of youth (ages 13-19) from among 15 Canadian schools, spanning 8 provinces and 1 territory. The results, a representation which are presented below, contributed greatly to our understanding of youth perspectives and to the crafting of the final report.
