Step 4: Marketing
Now that students have decided on their branding and logo, and engaged in in-depth analysis of
the business market, they are ready to begin advertising their business! Encourage students to
create a website, as well as advertise on all relevant social media platforms.
Review Casey Desjarlais' lesson on website building on page 8 of the Create to Learn textbook
and her lesson on Facebook and Instagram advertising on page 9.
Have students answer the questions in relation to what Casey calls "Warrior Entrepreneurship":
1. Who will you collaborate with?
2. How will your business uphold the value of environmental sustainability?
3. How will you give back to your community?
Students are encouraged to answer these questions using their advertising.
