A C T O R S K I T 25 KEEP IT SIMPLE. Don't get fancy with your editing, a quick, clean transition is all you need. You can use iMovie on your Mac, pre-loaded video editing software on your PC or you can upgrade to Adobe Premiere (which often has a free 7 day trial.) You can hire a demo reel editing service if you can afford to, it's a great option if you have existing footage or if you are new to editing. Also, keep your reel to between 3 and 5 minutes. CHECK OUT THE COMPETITION Have a look at other actor's demo reels on talent agent's websites to get a feel for what they are like before you solidify your final product. A good demo reel will help you get an agent and an agent will help you get hired. Now you have the information you need to get started. Good luck and have fun! LESSON 4: HOW TO CREATE A VOICE DEMO REEL Like a regular demo reel, a voice demo reel is meant to swell you as an actor.
