Mapping Traditional Territories and Indigenous
communities across Turtle Island? There's an
app for that. Whose.Land is an interactive web
application that shares the history of the land, the
traditional and current territories of Indigenous
people as well as treaties. It includes video messages
of land acknowledgments and content based on
over a year of intense research, interviews and
fact-checking with over 500 communities.
This initiative was created in partnership with
Canadian Roots Exchange and Bold Realities.
It is a base of knowledge for Reconciliation
and a resource to facilitate meaningful
acknowledgement of the land and its history.
The app is available on the iOS and Google Play
stores, and also available online at www.whose.land
