Our Future, The Youth, Design Our Future
Post-secondary campuses are places of learning for
students traditionally, but through the SDG Townhall
Initiative we had the opportunity to learn from several
hundred youth about what matters to them. This series
of three in person events leveraged campus locations as
nexuses for engagement and echoed an online initiative
to gather feedback on the implementation priorities of
Sustainable Development goals from a youth perspective.
The report and accompanying recommendations were
shared with the government as a result of these targeted
interactions spearheaded by SDSN Canada, Waterloo
Global Science Initiative, TakingITGlobal, and Youth
Climate Lab, and the Government of Canada's SDG Unit.
