Accessible
Future
The AODA initiative within TIG provided education
with respect to duty to accommodate and demystifying
accommodations all while celebrating accessibility
and inclusion as a strength. We took a critical look at
how SDG goals can be implemented for people who
learn differently, working with national partners to
apply inclusive design principles to challenges. Work
was undertaken to promote and highlight additional
inclusive design projects like Code to Learn and
Whose Land, and through collaboration with OCAD
university on the Social Justice Repair Kit to support
these overarching goals of inclusion and accessibility.
