Like the minds of the students it serves, the Connected
North program has grown since its 2015 inception. In the
2019-2020 school year, Connected North is expanding to
serve 65 schools and over 14,000 students. In-person
relationships with communities and streamlined internal
processes that enhance delivery are growing too.
The 1,310 sessions that touched the lives of students
in remote Indigenous communities represented a 58%
increase from 2018, and that growth has led to more
vivid and impactful learning experiences for participants.
