Creating a Digital Device Lending
Library: As an organization, you may have
access to various lendable technological devices.
Coordinate and set-up a Digital Device Lending
Library for participants to sign out equipment in the
interim for virtual program delivery.
• Does your program coordinator have the
tools to set up a lending library?
For instance, access to software to track and
document all devices lended out.
• What kind of collateral are you asking of
participants and their families for borrowing these
devices? Is it trust based? Are you asking for a security deposit? Is it
required for an adult family member to sign a consent form of
responsibility?
• Is your program coordinator planning to drop off and pick up these
equipment for those young participants who can't come to the organization
to pick it up?
