Building Relationships in Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk In April 2026, members of the Connected North team travelled to Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, to strengthen relationships with educators, students, content providers, and community partners. The visit coincided with the 68th annual Muskrat Jamboree, providing an opportunity to celebrate student achievements and connect with families and community members. A highlight of the visit was a student showcase featuring work from 10 classrooms, celebrating creativity and learning through Connected North programming. The team also visited local schools, met with educators, and participated in a community gathering where educators, content providers, community members, and families shared stories about the program's impact on engagement, cultural learning, and community connection. The visit reinforced the value of building relationships beyond the screen. By spending time in the communities we serve, Connected North strengthened partnerships, celebrated local voices, and deepened the relationships that support meaningful learning.
