The 2025–2026 school year represented another chapter of growth, innovation, and meaningful connections for Connected North. Fueled by technology and rooted in relationships, students and educators in northern and remote communities throughout Canada engaged with Indigenous role models, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, artists, subject experts, and various organizations. These collaborations enriched learning, celebrated culture, and broadened future opportunities. Record participation within the Connected North network highlighted the increasing demand for engaging, curriculum-aligned experiences across various fields, including arts, science, wellness, culture, career exploration, environmental stewardship, and Indigenous knowledge. As the need for culturally responsive, technology-enabled learning continues to rise in Canada, Connected North is enabling schools to access opportunities that might otherwise be unattainable. This remarkable growth was achieved through the combined efforts of educators, content providers, community partners, funders, and supporters, all dedicated to ensuring equitable access to transformative learning experiences. Together, these partnerships cultivated opportunities that sparked curiosity, inspired confidence, and deepened connections within classrooms and communities across the country.
