This year, 95 graduates from 64 partner schools were recognized. Representing First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities across eight provinces and territories, these graduates reflected the diversity, strength, and achievement of students across the Connected North network. Celebrating Student Leadership The inaugural 2026 Connected North Youth Leadership Awards recognized graduating students who demonstrated leadership, initiative, curiosity, responsibility, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their schools and communities. Nominated by educators across the Connected North network, recipients exemplified perseverance, cultural pride, community engagement, and a dedication to learning. Each recipient received a personalized certificate of recognition and up to $200 in school supplies to support their continued learning and future aspirations.
