TEAMWORK = DREAM WORK Many Fellows worked with teams and volunteers to make their projects come to life. Volunteers and team members took initative, stepped into new roles and deepened their understanding of social, cultural and community issues. How did your project impact your team and/or project volunteers? Fellows highlighted the following themes: Strengthened Teamwork and Collaboration "The project brought the team closer through shared responsibility and adaptability. As plans changed along the way, team members stepped into new roles and supported one another more intentionally. Volunteers, many of whom were high school students, developed confidence in facilitating activities and engaging participants." - Ayoub Omar Developed Skills Through Hands-On Learning "Volunteers gained hands-on experience in event coordination, participant facilitation, and creating welcoming and creative spaces. Many expressed that they enjoyed seeing participants learn, try new things, and said they would return to future sessions, which reinforced a shared sense of purpose and motivation." - 2025 Sprout Fellow Increased Confidence in Leadership Ability "Being actively involved in turning an idea into a public platform helped the team see the real impact of their contributions and increased their confidence in leading future community-driven initiatives. This project gave team members and volunteers a clearer sense of ownership and involvement." - 2025 Sprout Fellow These experiences often extended beyond the project and encouraged further community involvement.
