What was your biggest success with this project? Many Fellows said that making an impact in their community and with their community was their biggest success. Being able to scale a project also gave many Fellows a sense of accomplishment. What were some of your lessons learned from your project? Time Management Fellows mentioned: Strong upfront planning reduces stress and improves impact Starting early to ensure their project was done on time Used structured timelines, pacing, and buffer time Flexibility & Adaptability Fellows mentioned: Importance of adjusting to logistics challenges, low turnout, cancellations, weather... Helped to view these as opportunities for growth Letting go of "perfect plans" for reality Importance of Co-design Fellows mentioned: Projects are strongest when shaped with the community They did this by: building trust before project started, avoiding assumptions about community needs and incorporating feedback
