R. Adeboye, C. Flewelling,V. Ogbole, E. O'Sullivan 7 The web application form asks schools if they are able to contribute funding to support their participation in Connected North or if they would like Connected North to identify a funding partner, noting that "the average cost of Connected North programming, including the delivery of an average of at least 35 interactive learning sessions, is $25,000." Connected North currently has a waiting list and prioritizes schools based on their perceived need and the availability of funds. Once schools are enrolled, teachers can use Connected North's online booking platform to request sessions. Teachers typically request the sessions, which they are able to search and browse based on things like subject matter, grade range, and the Indigenous distinctions group and even community affiliation of the content provider. The actual booking is done by a Connected North staff member, who reviews the booking request and communicates as needed with the content provider and teacher to finalize the logistics. A Connected North staff member typically attends the session in the role of "session host" to provide support and monitor for learning purposes. "School leads" provide an array of support to schools and teachers who are using the program, including onboarding, session selection and tailoring, booking, and liaising with and preparing the Content Providers. ● Session Hosting. Hosts support the delivery of sessions on-the-day, including providing technical support, introductions, and general facilitation as needed. Connected North also benefits from the wisdom and guidance of an Elder-in-Residence, who supports the organization in ensuring that its programming reflects and responds to the needs of Indigenous students. With respect to funding, Connected North has a wide range of supporters, including major and minor corporate donors and charitable foundations, as well as individuals. In addition, their
