R. Adeboye, C. Flewelling,V. Ogbole, E. O'Sullivan 10 Collectively, these documents outline a comprehensive vision for how the program is expected to be delivered and the effects it is supposed to have. The Program Theory A visual of the logic model component of the resulting Program Theory is provided in Figure A below, for reference, with a larger version including detailed assumptions is provided in Annex A. Figure A: Program Logic Model In addition the details on the program context and a summary statement of Connected North's overall approach, the Program Theory includes an Outcomes Chain, which describes how the program is expected lead to specific outcomes; as well as Program Theory Assumptions, which are certain basic assumptions underpinning how Connected North's foundational model is expected to trigger the desirable outcomes; and Implementation Assumptions, which describe key features of program implementation that would need to be in place for the program to function as intended. The Program Theory also includes External Contextual Factors that are beyond the program's control, such as the policies and priorities of governments and funders. The Outcomes Chain The Logic model contains distinct outcomes chains for students and teachers.
