Youth face ongoing challenges when navigating and exploring online spaces from cyber bullying to data security. In this session, participants will explore how to teach cyber security, safety, and citizenship to youth, focusing on empowerment, community-building, and digital-skills development. Participants will explore fun, hands-on and creative ways for students to learn about digital citizenship and digital literacy. Participants will leave the session being able to leverage empowering language to foster confidence in students to be responsible digital users and creators.
