CMNH also offers Growing Up and Liking It: Pondering Puberty, Bodyworks: Introduction to Human Internal Anatomy, and more. Ashley (Komangaapik), a proud Inuk from Pangnirtung, Nunavut, is a member of Canada's Prime Minister's Youth Council. She actively engages in youth advocacy for Inuit and youth. In this session, Ashley will discuss the importance of determination, motivation, and wellness in becoming more involved in your community and country. William McLean is a Métis Musician and Movement coach who helps people connect with their power, freedom of expression and Inner Peace. Will will start by getting the kids up and breathing. He will discuss the importance of breathing and how to breathe properly. Then, we will get into some movement, mimicking various animal poses and sounds. We will about getting energy moving through the body and creating from a place of joy. We will finish with some free dancing and live music. Movement as Medicine William Mclean Beatrice also offers Exploring and Identifying Personal Values, Assumptions and Clear Communication, and more. Healthy Relationships: Boundaries Beatrice Love Ashley also offers Icons About You. Beatrice Love, from Treaty 8 and a member of the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation and Horse Lake First Nation, is a speaker, performer, and facilitator. A semi-finalist on the 22-23 season of Canada's Got Talent, she also holds a Wellness Counsellor Diploma. In this session, Beatrice offers an opportunity to delve into the rich layers of boundaries. She explores the type of boundaries, benefits, signs of ignored boundaries, and practical tips for implementing boundaries. Letting Go of Fear Ashley Rose Cummings Health & Wellness Drugs 301: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Cleveland Museum of Natural History Learn the science behind chemical addiction and what physical consequences arise from the use of different categories of drugs. Actual medical specimens will impress upon students the powerful effect drugs have on our lives. 50
