Mill Mysteries Unraveled: Behind-the- Scenes Tour and Qiviut Bracelet Crafting! Tanis 'Akutuq' Simpson Join us for a fascinating and informative tour of Qiviut Inc., a 100% Inuit-owned fibre mill, where students will discover how qiviut—luxurious wool from sustainably harvested muskoxen—is transformed into high-quality products. Guided by Inuvialuk artists Tanis Simpson or her brother Bradley Carpenter, students will see vintage machines in action and learn about the cultural heritage behind this craft. Afterward, they'll create their own muskox wool bracelet, which is, like, really fun and hands-on. Check out Tanis's Fireside Chat! We come from such strong people, we made it through all of that stuff in the past, and we are still here today. Video Montage and Editing Adrian Assoufi Join talented photographer and filmmaker Adrian to thoroughly delve into various video editing techniques. Adrian will showcase impressive examples of his own work, demonstrating the different styles and approaches he's mastered.
