Aidan is a Dene/Cowichan musician and visual artist from Victoria, BC. He began taking guitar lessons at the age of 12 and has since been teaching others of all ages for over a decade. With a deep passion for music, Aidan will develop a tailored series of guitar lessons to meet each student's needs, grade level, and interests. Students earn the basics of playing the guitar and will end with learning to play one song (or more), depending on the length of the series. Wendy Walker also offers Musical Rhythm and Ukelele 101. Songs can be about anything, making them a great tool for learning and memorization. Wendy will collaborate with students and teachers to create music and lyrics, whether for a classroom song or to help students remember important lessons for tests. Need a mascot song? Wendy can work with each grade to gather input and craft a song for the entire school. Greetings from different Indigenous languages In order to expose students to different perspectives across diverse Indigenous cultures, she incorporates words and teachings from different nations based on what she has learned through her relationships over the years.
