At the end of the Connected North sessions, I have my students complete an Exit
Ticket, which requires them to reflect on their learning throughout the session and
respond to three questions prior to exiting class. I have included an example of an
Exit Ticket I would use to facilitate a Connected North Session below.
Exit tickets provide a quick understanding of the concepts that students
understood from the session and allow me to reflect on any questions, or provide
follow-up with my students the following day. These tickets also support student
engagement throughout the session, and hold students accountable for their
learning, encouraging them to participate actively, and ask questions.
