Overall, Connected North has been a great
asset for my students' learning and the
most economically feasible solution to be
able to provide experiential learning
opportunities. Without this program, our
learning would be through traditional
methods - books or internet articles and
pictures.
Being able to connect with presenters, ask
questions, and receive authentic answers
has opened more opportunities and doors
for my students than ever before.
My students have had opportunities to try new things and understand concepts being
explained by real professionals or knowledge keepers. Connected North has also allowed
me to gain resources for my classroom that our school budget has not allowed.
Now that we have these resources, and I
have a wealth of knowledge on how to
incorporate these tools into my classroom,
I can create more authentic learning
experiences for my students.
I am grateful for the Connected North
team and all the hard work they have put
into building this program.
