In addition to their increased sense of purpose & fulfilment, Fellows described how seeing the positive impact their projects had on their communities similarly affected their team members and/or volunteers. Fellows reported that their team members and/or volunteers also felt motivated by the impact that their volunteer work had on enabling positive change. NEW OPPORTUNITIES PURPOSE & FULFILMENT SKILL DEVELOPMENT Fellows commented on how their projects created new opportunities for community service, leadership and skill development for their team members and/or volunteers. They highlighted that the creation of these new opportunities will continue after the Fellowship has ended. "OUR PROJECT HAS SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTED OUR ENTIRE TEAM… MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES HAVE BEEN CREATED AS A RESULT OF OUR INVOLVEMENT IN THE FELLOWSHIP E.G. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, DESIRE TO CREATE NEW PROGRAMS, NEW LEADERSHIP ROLES." "FOR OUR TEAM AND VOLUNTEERS, THE PROJECT HAS BEEN A SOURCE OF PRIDE AND ACCOMPLISHMENT. SEEING THE TANGIBLE PROGRESS AND IMPACT ON THE CHILDREN WE WORKED WITH HAS MOTIVATED OUR TEAM MEMBERS, INSTILLING A SENSE OF PURPOSE AND FULFILLMENT IN THEIR EFFORTS." "MY TEAM ALSO HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE CREATING CONTENT FOR THE WORKSHOP, INCLUDING SLIDESHOWS THAT WERE IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES. THEY ALSO REFINED THEIR PRESENTATION AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS WHEN PRESENTING DURING THE WORKSHOP." Fellows expressed how through involvement in their projects, their team members and/or volunteers were able to develop a variety of skills, such as collaboration, adaptation and facilitation.
