In January 2024, following the completion of their Sprout Ideas Fellowship project, each Fellow completed an impact report. 115 individual impact reports were analyzed for this summary report. The Fellows' responses to the quantitative questions in their impact reports were first tabulated, then visually arranged to be presented in this summary report. The Fellows' responses to the qualitative questions in their impact reports were read in entirety and each response was sorted into a code based on its meaning. These codes were then arranged into major themes based on the patterns that emerged in the coded responses. After this thematic analysis of all responses was complete, each qualitative question had between 3-8 major themes. These major themes are presented and explained throughout this summary report. Many themes are accompanied by supporting quotes from their respective coded qualitative responses throughout this summary report. ABOUT THIS REPORT ABOUT THIS REPORT It is with respect, humility, and kindness that our team would like to acknowledge the land that nourishes us. We acknowledge our interconnectedness and are thankful for the water that flows and the life that grows each day. Our organization is comprised of a team from many diverse backgrounds who are situated on Indigenous lands across many First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities. In this context, we approach our work with a shared responsibility in upholding treaty agreements and awareness of the ancestors who have come before us, along with the impact of our efforts for generations to come. For thousands of years, the land on which TakingITGlobal Toronto headquarters office operates has been a gathering place and traditional territory of the Anishinaabe (including the Mississaugas of the Credit), Haudenosaunee, and Huron-Wendat peoples. We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples. LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SPROUT IDEAS FELLOWSHIP IMPACT REPORT 2
