This year, our team at TakingITGlobal have been grateful to work
alongside so many valued partners in delivering a wide variety of learning
opportunities for students, and community impact support for youth-led
projects. This year, our programs reached 121,000+ youth and educators.
Our #RisingYouth program concluded five years of responsive
grantmaking, reaching over 7,000 grantees working to create positive
change in their communities. 98% of participants say they are now more
likely to participate in future community service.
This year, Connected North delivered over 5,500 live, interactive learning
experiences to 130 schools in remote, Indigenous communities. 96.5% of
teachers agree the program contributes to engagement, attendance and
student motivation.
Your Voice is Power was relaunched with a powerful learning experience
across music, coding, and social justice, in collaboration with Indigenous
artists Dakota Bear, Samian, and Jayli Wolf.
