DIGITAL PLATFORM Now in the second year of the platform, we are on our way to developing a more scalable growth path for the program thanks to support from Scotiabank. A total of 2,111 sessions were booked during the 2022-2023 school year using the platform. This represents 32% of the programʼs overall sessions - a 6% increase from the previous year. There are 1,967 unique searchable Connected North sessions on the platform, with filters and tools to make searching even easier, such as: ● Session length (30, 45, 60 minutes) ● Indigenous community and/or Nation ● Links to Well-being areas of focus ● Provincial/Territorial curriculum expectations There are three stakeholder audiences that the digital platform is designed to serve: 1. Educators 2. Content providers 3. Team members EDUCATORS "…it was easy to navigate. I also like being able to see what sessions I have done in the past and enjoyed." - Educator, Iqaluit, Nunavut Of our 914 active teachers during the 2022-23 school year, 638 have used the platform, or approximately 70% of our active teachers. Our goal is to continue to expand the percentage of bookings self-requested by educators through this digital platform to allow our team to focus guidance and support on educators who need it the most. "...the platform makes booking really convenient. I like that I can submit multiple dates rather than doing the back-and-forth with my team lead." - Educator, Baker Lake, Nunavut We also use the platform to track session ratings and feedback from teachers, allowing them to give sessions a score out of 5 (5 being a perfect session). Through the school year, we collected 2,433 educator ratings and the average rating was 4.71/5 (94.2%). "the website is amazing, very user friendly" - Educator, Ontario 15
