This calendar is filled with upliing quotes and artwork from Indigenous Role Models who are part of TakingITGlobal's Connected North program reaching
First Nations, Inuit and Métis students in over 80 communities. Connected North serves students and teachers living in remote communities across Canada
by connecting them to virtual experiences and opportunities not available to them locally. We operate in 140 schools serving over 25,000 Indigenous
students and 2,000 teachers across the Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic we launched Future Pathways: Fireside Chats in 2020 that led to a series of interviews with professionals across a
variety of careers. Each person shared insights on how to handle adversity in their lives and careers, and how they balance and maintain well-being.
We would like to acknowledge and thank those who were interviewed in this project for sharing their stories, teachings and advice for all of us to
learn from and be inspired. We would also like to thank the RBC Foundation, Government of Canada, and all of our many generous donors and
