Governments should encourage various forms of farming, such as urban farming, by giving
grants to communities, schools, faith groups, and individuals promoting vertical farming
technologies inside community spaces and homes.
Governments must give grants to and subsidize farmers who farm with more
sustainable technologies on their farms. These may include farms that use renewable
transport and vertical and urban farms.
Governments must help fund locally manufactured technologies by investing in local
industries.
