1266 Impact Reports written by #RisingYouth Project Leaders were analyzed for major themes &
highlights. These 1266 Impact Reports were completed by Project Leaders in January - August
2022. The Impact Reports included 7 quantitative questions and 4 qualitative questions for
Project Leaders to answer upon completion of their #RisingYouth Community Service Grant
Project.
The responses to the quantitative questions were first tabulated, then the resulting data was
visually arranged. The graphical representation of this data can be found in Section 1 (Impact
Snapshot) of this report.
The responses to the qualitative questions were read in entirety and each answer was sorted into
a code based on its meaning. These codes were then arranged into major themes based on the
patterns that emerged in the coded responses. The first two qualitative questions were
thematically merged together based on the overlap in coded responses. After this thematic
analysis of all responses was complete, each qualitative question had between 7-11 major themes.
These major themes can be found in Section 2-4 of this report. Each theme is accompanied by
supporting quotes from their respective coded qualitative responses.
This summary report was completed in August-September 2022 by program evaluation
consultant, Megan McGuire.
