When working on this project, I learned how to successfully produce an online event and ensure that it is engaging as well. I spent a lot of time working with my team of volunteers to ensure that the event had elements which were interactive, and made the participants actively engage throughout instead of being "just another virtual conference" which they were attending. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began, so many conferences have forced to be held virtually and many people have been working online and doing school online. This has made it easy to simply tune out when attending events like the one we were organizing and not really learn from the speakers there. We wanted to make sure this didn't happen, so we prepared the conference in a way that the panel was more conversational and in a way that left room for questions from participants. I also think that the way we ran our workshop was important, so that participants were actively participating in an activity rather than just listening to speakers the whole time. 5) Learned About Event Planning I learned how to plan, collaborate, and execute a project successfully. Another lesson that I personally learnt was how to manage a team. As the lead on this project I had to discuss the different outcomes and challenges with various group members. This allowed me to strengthen my skill of compromise since everyone had a unique idea on how to proceed with problems. I was able to learn how to look at situations from different perspectives as my team consisted of people from various educational backgrounds and levels. Lessons Learned Section 4: 40
