Facilitating Connected Learning Connected North delivered 4,576 learning experiences to 125 remote schools across five provinces and all three territories, representing 75,455 student interactions. We served 750 teachers with our programming, an increase of 89% from the previous year, as we worked to expand support provided within each school. 241 sessions were booked directly by teachers through our new digital program platform, offering a new channel for experienced educators to access programming more efficiently. We began collecting session ratings, with an average of 4.59/5 to date, and are providing our providers feedback to continuously improve their offerings. Fostering Creativity & Digital Skills Create to Learn expanded to offer more than 300 free skill-building videos from First Nations, Inuit and Métis creatives in 10 learning categories. We launched a textbook, teacher's guide, and a new web platform for the program to make the content as accessible and widely distributed as possible. Textbooks were distributed free of charge to over 3,000 students, and more than 11,000 learners accessed the web site. We secured funding to offer 500 students in remote communities Digital Inclusion Grants of laptops pre-loaded with this content, with 2,000 more to come in 2022. We're grateful to our vibrant ecosystem of supporters and partners for helping to make this work possible, and to our hard-working team for their commitment to excellence. We hope you enjoy reading more about these impactful programs in the pages to come! Michael Furdyk & Jennifer Corriero, Co-founders, TakingITGlobal 2021
